Transistor bipolar (BJT) kemasan TO-92 tipe populer: S8050, S9013, S9018 (NPN) serta S9012 dan S9015 (PNP). Dijual per pack isi 10 pcs dengan tipe yang sama. Urutan kaki umum E-B-C saat sisi rata menghadap kita.
Transistor ibarat keran air otomatis: arus kecil di kaki basis membuka aliran arus yang jauh lebih besar dari kolektor ke emitor, sehingga Arduino bisa menyalakan relay, buzzer, atau LED banyak.
